In my early twenties I went through appointment after appointment, including multiple trips to the ER, and was told my symptoms were anxiety or fibromyalgia. They weren't. I eventually found the right diagnosis, but I never forgot how it felt to not be believed.
Years later, as a whole-body physical therapist, I kept seeing back and hip pain that wouldn't resolve. Over and over, the pelvic floor turned out to be the missing link. That's what led me to specialize in pelvic health.
I built the PelviPain Project so that everyone living with chronic pelvic pain can get the care they deserve, no matter how far they live from a specialist.
